Hi, I’m Asli
My journey into nutrition started long before formal education or certifications.
I was raised in a home where food was deeply connected to care, tradition, and everyday life. Many things were prepared from scratch—jams, tomato paste, soups, homemade pasta—and my mother had a deep interest in nature, herbs, and natural ways of supporting health. Looking back, those experiences shaped the way I think about food and wellness today.
Before entering the nutrition field, I worked in the corporate world in Turkiye. When we moved to the United States for my husband’s career, I saw it as an opportunity to rethink my own path and pursue something that felt more meaningful and aligned with who I was becoming.
After becoming a mother, my interest in nutrition and health deepened even more. I became increasingly curious about how food, lifestyle, stress, and daily habits affect the way we feel—especially for women navigating different stages of life.
I first explored the field through health coaching and functional nutrition programs, including certifications through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and MindBodyGreen. But I quickly realized I wanted a deeper scientific understanding of nutrition and the body.
That led me to complete my Master’s degree in Human Nutrition at the University of Bridgeport, and I am currently continuing my clinical training toward becoming a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS).
Today, my approach combines evidence-informed nutrition with a practical, personalized perspective. I believe nutrition and lifestyle changes can have a meaningful impact on how we feel, and my goal is to help women better understand and support their health in a way that feels realistic and sustainable.
I currently live in Naperville, Illinois, with my husband, son, and our cat. Outside of nutrition, I enjoy reading, art and crafts, yoga, Pilates, and spending time in nature.
